War Against Pontunia

Since late October 2023, Pontunia and it’s government have increasingly become hostile towards Elarians.

This should be noted that this came as a result of a controversial series of statements made by both the Honorable Anthony Ramirez and the new General of the Elarian Armed Forces Kapano Rodriguez.

Since 1 November 2023, Pontunia has begun its process of declaring war on Ela’r’oech, which had already previously been working on governmental and military reforms.

Notably, these military reforms including gaining more troop in reserves, non-lethal airsoft weaponry, and gear such as eyewear, vests, patches, and the like.

This process of declaring war from Pontunia to Ela’r’oech has been met with criticism from many government officials, from Elarians to Bushistanis, and even those in a new potential ally of the Empire, the TDC Empire.

General Rodriguez made allusions of the potential war with World War II, specifically the Attack on Pearl Harbor.

His Imperial Majesty then furthered this allusion, asking Pontunian citizens that if the US was aware of Imperial Japan’s upcoming actions, should they then enact a pre-emptive invasion to stay safe?
