The Empire of Ela’r’oech has announced the introduction of a new medals and decorations program to recognize the services of its citizens who have made significant contributions to the micronation. The program will commence on 10 March 2023, with the introduction of six new medals.
The Elarian Service Medal will recognize servicemen in the armed forces. The Good Conduct Medal will recognize those who have demonstrated outstanding conduct and discipline while serving in the Empire’s military, while the Brave Medal will be awarded to those who have displayed courage and bravery in the face of danger.
The new medals include the Alarian War Service Medal, the Second Alarian War Service Medal, the Alarian Conflict Medal, the Elarian Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and Brave Medal. Each medal has its own specific criteria for eligibility, but all are intended to recognize outstanding contributions to the Empire of Ela’r’oech.
The Alarian Service Medals will obviously be recognizing those who served during the First Alarian War, Second Alarian War, and Alarian Conflict as a whole. The Good Conduct Medal is for servicemen who have shown “proper conduct in the face of danger,” with the Brave Conduct Medal being for servicemen who have shown “absolute strength and resolve at times of war on the enemy lines.”
Speaking about the new program, Emperor Charles I stated, “The Empire of Ela’r’oech is fortunate to have so many dedicated citizens and brave military personnel. It is important to recognize their contributions and sacrifices, and these new medals and decorations will do just that. We hope that they will serve as a symbol of the Empire’s gratitude and appreciation for their service.”
