Elarian Weekly #1/2022

Ela’r’oech News Source became an accredited media source for MicroWiki on 16 March, 2022. In commemoration, each following Friday will be the Elarian Weekly – this will be a weekly news digest, of course, regarding Elarian and Bayou Sector news.

With all that, out of the way, let the news roll out on this Wednesday.

Note for this article.

NEWSFLASH: Parliament is active with multiple bills ready to be ratified!

Parliament has recently been extremely active within the Empire. This is an amazing sign that soon we may see the governmental side of the Empire being fleshed out. New proposals include;

A new controversial policy which would bar all women from public government office. It is yet to be ratified.

A mysterious new “Mormon Law,” which apparently despite the name is not making Ela’r’oech Mormon?

The Mysterious Mormon Law

and the Quadripartite Pact, which was being proposed by the Emperor across Begon, Pontunia, Bushistan, and of course the Empire. This pact would officially make all Elarian relations with those listed micronations as official. It would also give military support to Pontunia and diplomatic support for Bushistan and Begon. However, a possibly controversial part of the pact is Article Two, which is titled “Recognition on unfavored nation states,” which frankly identifies the Cycoldian Imperium, Poloris, and the Desert District as viewed unfavorably. According to the article, “Each party of the pact will, while not being prevented from engaging in foreign relations, still be advised to at minimum give notice to other parties of the pact if they to engage in relations [with these nations.]”

The Pact has been passed in Pontunia and Ela’r’oech, updates on Begon and Bushistan will come accordingly.

EVEN BETTER: Photoshoots with the Emperor!

The Emperor is scheduled to – at some time this week – hold a photoshoot and be recorded having signed the documents to officially ratify multiple of the proposals as listed above. The photoshoot will be at his school, where His Imperial Majesty will be accompanied by members of the Armed Forces, fellow citizens, and the Propaganda Officer who, awkwardly enough, will have to step down from her position as Propaganda Officer should the proposal to bar women from public office passes. It is believed that should the proposal be passed, she will become the Emperor’s secretary.

See you next week on the 25th!
