Many in the Empire as of late have been calling for local elections in provinces and territories ahead of the 2023 year. One representative from the territory of Hezron stated “Many have been calling for my resignation. I, however, will not be resigning ahead of 2023. As I believe it is my solemn duty to protect both my territory I represent and the Empire I serve.” When ENS asked for a comment, he stated further “it is absolutely absurd that the amount of citizens calling for elections both locally and federally have not been accused of domestic terrorism.” It has been confirmed that the representative has been now placed under investigation by local polive forces for his comment.
Additionally many citizens in the Empire have been calling for representation for territories with statehood. States are not bundles of territories under a federal banner rather they are separate territories of their own with different citizens. That is why many citizens of those States have been calling for representation in the federal government with their own local elections and R-MPs.
