Ela’r’oech is yet to have any professional debates until now. These November 2022 elections have been great so far. There have been multiple candidates seeking the two new offices created.
The two new offices created include the Chancellor and the President. Many Elarians are running for the Presidency and Chancellery.
Candidates for Chancellor include Hunter Kieran, Wyatt Robbins, Noah Robinson, and Shawn West. Candidates for President only include Noah Robinson so far, however others have expressed interest in running regardless.
Shawn West recently campaigned in the forum – discord server – for the nation, with a slogan of “Shawn West is Best” being featured. Andrew Perdomo – recently allowed back into the Empire – may also seek the Presidency or Chancellery, though he is yet to directly state his intent.
Debates are already occurring, sponsored by ENS and Carolusian Front. Answers ranged from minimal one sentence answers to full on explanations regarding solutions to real national issues going on. Topics ranged from the recession, to diplomacy, the military, and even Alaria and Zeprana.
ENS will continue to sponsor the Presidential and Chancellery debates.
