Ela’r’oech and Pontunia are two very closely related micronations. Both are from Louisiana, both are monarchies, they hold similar views and policies, in addition to that, their respective Kings are friends. This is true to such a point that King Charles is the heir to the Pontunian throne.
King Charles has returned to both Ela’r’oech and micronationalism. Hurrah! However, it seems King Andrew of Pontunia is in the same situation Charles found himself in a month ago. Perhaps the foreign power wishes for a break.
The Prime Minister, Christoph Billung, and his deputy, Anthony Ramirez, have both worked out the idea of Pontunia and Ela’r’oech holding a coalition of sorts to engage the citizens of both micronations.
The following is the contents of the letter;
“
A LETTER TO THE KING OF PONTUNIA
Drafted and signed by the appointed Prime Minister of Ela’r’oech, Christoph Billung
Your Majesty,
It has come to my attention that both of our nations have entered into phases of inactivity, and I have been made aware of your thoughts concerning the dissolution of Pontunia. Me and the Deputy Prime Minister, in good conscience, have an offer to make in lew of the recent events. We plead that His Majesty receives it with grace and without offence.
It is the intention of Charles IV’s government to establish a Louisianian Commonwealth between both of our nations. This commonwealth, with the presence of three delegates from each nation, is to determine the unity of our nations legally and not just culturally. This union, by virtue of the positions of each nation as equal powers, will be a Dual Monarchy. However, such specifics should be decided in the presence of the council called by our Governments.
When this Council is formed with the 6 delegates, it is to be entitled the “Council of Lousiana” or, if it is deemed necessary, the name is subject to change via the vote of said council. The council will decide the Constitution, Flag, Name, Monarch, and all other things pertaining to this proposed union in order to express the equality of both nations in this sense.
I am inclined to believe that this is a probable solution. Not only for Ela’r’oech but for Pontunia as well. Shaking up our systems can bring in a new wave of activity, and even so can the debate.
With great pleasure and friendship,
Your friend,
Christoph Billung”
