Zeprana A Dominion; Good? Bad? Different, Indeed.

Officially on 10 January 2022, Zeprana has become a dominion or “realm” of Ela’r’oech.

What does this mean? What is Zeprana? Why might you have heard that name before? All answered here.

What is Zeprana? What’s the history? Well, King Madgett and a friend Terry McKeen founded the nation as a Constituency of Ela’r’oech. McKeen did not like this idea however he was willing to go along with it seeing that Ela’r’oech had been around since 2018. They founded the nation on August 19, 2021 under the name “Commonwealth of Zeprana.” Soon, Zeprana found itself thrusted into Elarian Politics with McKeen becoming a representative in Parliament, and he even later served as Speaker of the Parliament in Ela’r’oech for a short period of time. However, during this time the Ela’r’oech Monarchy Power Dispute was in full swing between Charles Madgett and Christina. After Christina refused to resign or abdicate as the Queen of Ela’r’oech, McKeen and Ramirez threatened and then later decided to take matters into their own hands after seeing that she had done nothing but harm for the nation. With Anthony being the Governor of Neo-Alaria and McKeen being the Speaker of Parliament, they both decided to secede from Ela’r’oech. They did and Neo-Alaria soon became apart of Ela’r’oech, Zeprana did not and it became its own country. Charles was reasonably annoyed but still thought that an alliance between the two states was possible and he thought it would be best to avoid any conflict. Members of Parliament in Ela’r’oech soon proposed a motion of no confidence against McKeen and he was removed from his office as speaker of the Elarian Parliament.

From there, Zeprana got many allies such as the Democratic Christian Republic of Melite, Most Serene Republic of Richensland, and the Micronational Assembly with Terry McKeen also making friends with some other nations such as the Alliance of the Micronations member states and the Sultanate of Qardasha. McKeen thought that the foreign policy of Zeprana was one of the most important things to work on in order for the nation to prosper, He appointed the President of Melite, Matthew Tonna to be his Secretary of State. He also made friends with the League of Independent Nations or the LIN for short. The nation was founded officially as a grand republic on the 13th November, 2021.

But why is it now a Dominion? After the Ela’r’oech Monarchy Power Dispute ended and Christina had abdicated the throne, Charles proposed Zeprana rejoin Ela’r’oech. This request was denied, however after some back and forth it was declared that Zeprana could become a realm. It officially became a realm the same day and became subject to Operation Elarian and is now very close to Ela’r’oech.
