With the signing of the Cosma Convention signed by multiple parties including Ela’r’oech’s Charles Madgett and Alaria’s Michael Fraille – who won their previous election on August 15th – thus ends the Elarian-Alarian Conflict, which had been an ongoing struggle for nearly a year.
The Cosma Convention was also noted as the catalyst for the founding of the Certified Higher Authority of Secessionist Micronationalists. Key People noted by the MicroWiki page details Charles Madgett, the current Chairman after elections on August 17th, Andrew Perdomo – the previous Chairman as a Provisional Chairman until elections – as well as Christoph Billung. However, it should also be noted that Aidan Pierce along with Alexandre Olivier and Logan White.
The administration appears to stand for showing that even those relatively unknown in the micronational community can still be a guiding light within it, along with someone you can refer to for help as a newcomer.
The only four member states appear to be the United Elarian Front, Pontunia, Bushistan, and Northway. These few micronations have also begun a 70 hour session, which has been going on since the 16th. ENS, while unsure if it’s organized, commends them for their efforts.
If this 70 hour session is to be completed, it would beat out the current record holder – the Cupertino Alliance – for the longest micronational organization session at 69 hours. It has also been stated they plan on donating upwards of 20 or even 30 USD (or 40 to 60 UED) and that could go a long way.
Logan White serves as their scribe and has been holding tabs via a transcript channel in the organization’s discord server, however it seems that the Wiki page may be doing better of providing an accurate description of what appears to be going on.
The organization has already ended the Elarian-Alarian Conflict, wrote their Charter, and have an incoming merge or absorption with ComSov, Christoph Billung’s Commonwealth of Sovereignties. They have held many votes, one of which was unanimous at declaring that the Taliban – which took over Afghanistan earlier this month – would not be recognized as Afghanistan’s legitimate government.
The Cosma Convention name calls the Elarian-Alarian Conflict and the Vancouver Island Dispute, then stating that such trivial conflicts should not effect any foreign relation changes directly. With more signatories than CHASM Member States it appears that this treaty was a success along with the organization’s founding. But can they really make the whole 70 hours? Well it seems like it may be possible with only around 50 hours to go, they plan on doing 10+ hours per day with some short intermissions. It may be possible this newcomer organization could give the Cupertino Alliance a run for it’s money.
