Charles Madgett to run in 2022 Vermont Gubernatorial Elections

It seems Charles Madgett (I) will be going after Phil Scott (R)’s position as Governor of Vermont. Running as an independent, Charles will stand for representation for micronations, more rights for those under 18 (e.g. voting), improvement of welfare, and will focus on the economy.

Phil Scott, current and possibly incumbent Governor, is yet to comment on Charles’ run, however his experience will definitely help him in this race, as the people of Vermont have elected him for three terms already. He has not announced if he will run for a fourth term.

Charles Madgett has admitted himself he has no true experience in any United States political offices, however he is a software engineer, owner of ACBIC, and founder of the micronation known as Ela’r’oech. He does have some show of experience with governing though, as shown by the last “occupation”, he owns a micronation that has been running for years now. Keep in mind, micronations are entities that claim to be sovereign that are not recognized, so owning one for years must give at least a basic experience in governing.

Little information is known about the Independent, so ENS is unaware if this is a joke run or a legitimate attempt at office. When asked regarding this, Madgett gave no comment.
