This is the second update of a story we featured initially on October 1st.
Two days ago a parliament member, Erarolol was found not guilty on charges of “Attempting to Start a War”, “Instigating Foreign Relations”, “Negatively Affecting Citizens As Member of Parliament”, however he was found guilty on an unrelated charge being “Attempt to Seize and Prosper”, where someone buys a lot of swiss rolls to keep and exchange after they get a ton of boxes for Stix.
REASON: There wasn’t enough evidence to find that he was attempting to start a war, or negatively affecting citizens, however it is still unknown whether “Instigating Foreign Relations” was handled properly, as it is known that there was a day or so of panic among citizens of both Ela’r’oech and the Principality of Runnymede.
While it is public knowledge that Erarolol started the hoax, it was also public knowledge that the article specifically stated that there was no war, while he started the hoax that said there would be one, he essentially disproved himself in the same article.
OPINION? We at ENS believe that Erarolol should have been found guilty of “Instigating Foreign Relations” as well.
