Opportunity: Ela’r’oech’s History with Space

Around September 16th, Dictator Charles I began experimenting ways to send the nation to space. He wanted to try objects but eventually wanted to try animals, but he chose animals posthumous – or already dead- as to not be accused of animal cruelty. He sent a squirrel named “Buzz All-Nuts” with a small engine and a camera. They were now ready for their first expedition “Opportunity I”. His lordship was unable to find any good footage, as the camera died halfway up. However he did a collaboration with Runnymede Prince, Mathijs.

“Hello everyone! I’d like to introduce to you all the new Runnymede Space Program! First of all, these first tests will be done with the assistance of animals, mainly posthumous as not to disturb any in case they’re afraid said animals could die. We can send some up but currently I’m working on a little mobile device filled with padding and fluff that can fit up to 15 lbs. I can bring it up and down and yes, I can make it turn around. But first I must complete it. The project will cost at bare minimum 1,000 US dollars and at most 5,000. The device should be complete by late 2020 to mid 2021. Currently, we will be completing gravity pressure tests for our animals we plan to send to space.

Additionally, Ela’r’oech has already sent a posthumous squirrel into space in the “Backyard Space Program” Project in Phase I of our own Program. Phase I will be done with posthumous animals and objects, Phase II will be living animals and Phase III should include humans. We’re creating a United Space Program together, Ela’r’oech and Runnymede. This will help each other calculate and observe how both programs conduct experiments and such.”

By this time, Buzz was still in space for Opportunity I. However, after the engine returned, his lordship went to heat up the camera in the microwave. Which, didnt work out. He destroyed the camera and inevitably destroyed the footage of space. Buzz wasn’t found and his whereabouts are unknown. Yet, the engine used to send him up was able to be brought into Charles’ yard. As the parliament and the dictator figure out whats next for Ela’r’oech and space, they also need to focus on the Alarian war. Maybe bringing the war to space could help set the future of Ela’r’oech and every nation. Perhaps we could all learn from Opportunity I.
